I believe this pottery bust is European. It is 6 inches tall and marked as shown (photo could be upside down). I have no idea who made it.

Goldscheider type mask . I am wondering about eyebrows they appears to be added later . Google that name :-) Very nice !

Looks like a Japanese or Chinese signature ?
Do you still have this bust ? I have the identical item in all respects except that mine has a tiny blue beauty spot on her left cheek. I believe the bust is Austrian, perhaps Goldscheider or Wiener Werkstatte. I don't agree that the eyebrows were added later or that the item is Chinese/Japanese. Mine has the identical signature and internal monogram. It's a stunning item.
