Picked up 2 asian tea caddies last night at auction. The large one I believe is Chinese pewter and is very well made. Can anybody tell me more about it as far as the cartoche / era? One of the glass panes has a erotic picture, others women doing chores or warriors on guard duty or hunting game.

The other is bamboo, do you think it is chinese or japanese? No marks on it.

Indeed it's real nice. Wish I had 1, sad thing in my country u either get it from fuor parents or when u travel u buy it, we don't have much of those in auctions

wtf is the left one , it looks a sort mandarin chinese signed, wtf a sort of shantou clearing mark around 1920 , this has to go to asian art forum
