These are after pictures and the last is after a lite sanding. I forgot to get pictures before I cleaned the crate up and added shelves. I just love all the old school ammo crates.

"And they shall beat their swords into ploughshares... and their ammo boxes into very nice decorative shelves for their homes... " I may have misquoted a bit there, memory fades on and off. Very nice boxes indeed and they look great refinished and repurposed. LOVE IT!!
I toted a good many of these and hated them. When I got home I loved them to keep tools in. Obviously you found a new and very unique use for them. I love it.
