Family Heirloom item from our family.
All I know is that it is a Travel (collapsible) cup made of metal. Still has its case too. Holds water when put in drinking condition. Can only find the one mark on the bottom of it. Not sure of the Age. This was my Aunts and she was a school teacher and Music teacher. I think she did travel some, so this was most likely kept in her purse.
Great old family item.
Anyone know more info/history/age of this, I would be greatly appreciated!
:-)
Found this of something like it:

Your collapsible telescopic cup was manufactured by C. F. Rumpp & Sons, Incorporated, 114-130 North Fifth Street at Cherry Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Their trademark is an "R" inside a keystone. Pennsylvania is nicknamed "The Keystone State." :-)
Fascinating company, founded by Carl Frederich Rumpp in 1850, and well-known for the manufacture of fancy leather goods. Here is a post from the 925-1000.com forum that shows your cup:

This old auction listing has some interesting details about the cup:

@ solver - WOW, THANKS, SUPER LINKS, SUPER INFO!!!!
That was amazing info/links you gave!!
Do you think mine is Sterling Silver? I do not see a mark anywhere except that "R" in the Keystone. I would have never figured that out either.
I wish to give you a Internet Reward for such SUPER INFO, and Research. Thanks!!

antiquerose, my pleasure and a great, unusual family heirloom.
Simply by looking at your photographs, I would say that your cup is not silver and if it were, it would be marked. I ran across quite a few like yours, without the leather case but the same trademark, that were in bad shape and obviously not silver.
The one shown on the 925-1000 forum is visibly silver to me, particularly since the photograph shows that the interior of the cup is gilded, a common practice for drinking vessels.
Thanks for the gorgeous trophy, you were too extravagant! Is the trophy silver overlay on a silver gilt body? :-) :-)
@ solver - Thanks again, as this *Mystery is NOW Solved* Thanks to your knowledge!!
