I believe this color is called "volcano", or simply a pinkish/red.
Adding to the interest are three thumbprint type impressions in the glass and three large pattern drips around the surface. It is properly signed within the pontil. My guess would be a 1902-03 decor, where most records are missing.
It has some traits of a PG 2/679 but certainly the decoration is different. I would love to hear other opinions or see any documentation anyone may have concerning its PN#.
This one is my favourite!!! Simply, gorgeous!
The drips and the dimples do it for me - these vases often seem so perfect I forget someone made them! This vase tells me!
STUNNING!
Thanks for the Eye Candy!!
Hi Famatta, I truly love the vase. Do you manage the "Loetz Art Glass" page on Facebook? I see a lot of the pieces you post on here on this facebook page as well.
