nutsabotas6 its hard to beat perfection. Weissmuller was the first and in my book will always be the best Tarzan. He did his own stunts for water shots, didn't hurt that he was an Olympic star.

My dad and J.W were in Garfield Park, Chicago at the pond or the pool Viewing for the girlies. J.W was older than my dad by several years but my dad was manly for his age (quit s=school cause his "legs stuck too far out in the aisle," so he used to go rowing at the park. One day while standing around, JW , who he wasn't acquainted with, came up behind him and threw him in the water. My dad couldn't swim, and realizing that, JW dove in and dragged him out ( My dad was embarrased at being rescued) He they both were there eying the girls. Dad was as handsome and built as JW but hurriedly left as he was a topic of amusement of the giggling girls after he was splatted on the grass sputtering.JW got the best of him! And he got the girl.
