A fabulous glitter lucite clamper bracelet & earring demi set, circa 1940's. It is in absolutely amazing condition. It has a layer of large gold glitter on the "bottom" and then little pearlescent shells, dyed a lovely shade of coral.
I was indulging, just looking....cruising the internet when I found this stunning set. So much for the just looking.... I adore glitter lucite, moonglow and glitter moonglow from the 1940's through the 1960's. I've collect it all, signed, unsigned, in any colour I can find. It is one of my favorite passions.
Love them !! . So retro and it has tiny sea shells in it a favorite of mine !
Thanks! I just found another set, with multi coloured shells. And I have earrings with just white shells. Sadly, missed getting that bracelet. I've been on a serious binge of lucite & glitter lucite lately... Just found and got my very first Wilardy 1950's purse~
I see we are neighbors Count :-) I have always liked lucite it brings back memories of my Moms jewlery .
LOL... I got into soooo much trouble as a kid playing in my mom's jewelry box. She had a lot of great Coro & Trifari, more of the rhinestone stuff than lucite. (That was an addiction I found all on my own.) When she passed, I did get the fabulous jewelry box. But not all of her great jewelry. So, now my mission is to find, and collect it. And... well... a few other awesome things along the way.
Are you in the Milwaukee area?
I recieved much of my Moms jewlery when she passed but she want not one to keep much so I did get some and a Huge Diamond which I gave my sister as I don't wear rings so it went to use on her hand .
Yes I am very close to you just outside Milwaukee :-)
