And I'm a jewelry addict. I have been fascinated by, collected and made jewelry since I was a child. At 7 I began making jewelry. I make, collect, repair, restore, upcycle and love jewelry still. I love all aspects of jewelry and adornment, even fashion... although my fashion tastes run a few decades to several hundred years back from the current styles. (Read more)

  1. Thank you. I love them all. Unfortunately, my daughter does not, so it may be time to start clearing the collection. Oh well, la vie.
  2. LOL. Wisconsin is very fun in the summer. Now? Not so much. SF girl here needs to get back to the west coast. Not a snow/cold girl. Not at all!
  3. It is a great piece! I'm not seeing the figure eight puddling. But, it does look quite similar to some on the education/verification sites. Have you checked those? Both have archives of pictures o...
  4. Thank you! I love all things vintage plastic, especially the jewelry. And, this one just had to stay with me.
  5. Thank you both!! I'm a huge fan of all jewelry plastic, and most MC, MCM plastic anything... LOL, thinning out the excessive vintage rhinestone jewelry collection in favor of more plastics! Just s...
  6. I found the earrings! Now to make them mine. Oh, and there is a bracelet and another brooch. And a second pair of earrings as well. *le sigh* I will be happy with these earrings today. The rest is f...
  7. D&E is never marked. Unless D&E made it for someone else. Well, certain companies, such as Hobe, Celebrity, and a few others, who put their company names on the pieces D&E made for them. Tara did not....
  8. Thank you! I'm working to get it all photographed, cataloged, dated, etc. Many changes are coming up, so it's good to know where one is starting...
  9. Thank you.
  10. Thank you. It's pretty awesome, no lie. I'm still very partial to my Coro stuff, but this is the original inspiration for all the 50's Coro Aztec, Peruvian/Incan stuff...
  11. Possibly? I've got a couple I am sure are. Thank you so much for the link! I was looking for that!
  12. LOL, neither. We lived in the SF bayarea. Imported from India...She'd cut up the drapes/spreads and make herself a dress & a matching dashiki for my dad. My parents were kind of hippies. I'll ch...
  13. LOL, Thank you. How about those crazy imported prints? I seriously wish I did have some of those dresses my mom made for herself from that era....
  14. Thank you. I do have the two pieces in this picture. Still looking for the bracelet & pin. Because, it's D&E. We all know they made a complete grand parure.....
  15. Thank you. I've discovered there is a second brooch, and a matching bracelet. This could take some time and hunting to acquire the complete parure.
  16. Awesome bangles. I adore all the plastics. From celluloid to lucite and bakelite. I just completely agree about being truthful about what it is. Simichrome! Lovcs it. And, I completely understand ...
  17. LOL... I got into soooo much trouble as a kid playing in my mom's jewelry box. She had a lot of great Coro & Trifari, more of the rhinestone stuff than lucite. (That was an addiction I found all on my...
  18. Thank you. I'm not crazy about orange, but this one is just wild. And, it makes my skin actually look tanned. Given that I'm of Austrian/German heritage, that's a pretty cool trick. :-)
  19. Awesome! I'm in Milwaukee! And, should be out scouring for new treasures. But, I'm all the lazy today.
  20. Thanks! I just found another set, with multi coloured shells. And I have earrings with just white shells. Sadly, missed getting that bracelet. I've been on a serious binge of lucite & glitter lucit...
  21. LOL. You aren't all that much older than I. And, yes, some of those mornings are pretty brutal. Not so sure I act 34, though.... Last weekend I did a damn fine impression of just turned 21...
  22. What? You are D&E? Or lucite? Or barware? Yep. Only 1 cup of coffee in.... Your stuff is as eclectic as mine. All to the good. As to old...meh.... Many things are better aged.
  23. Thanks! I'm crazy for D&E. And nearly anything lucite. And old bar ware. And steam/travel trunks... Oh hades, I love all kinds of "old" stuff. ;-)
  24. It is a very lovely example of DeLizza & Elster, aka Juliana. If the bracelet does not have a safety chain, that typically means it is a much earlier piece. If you have regular internet access, I...
  25. Love D&E, Love Sarah Coventry! I must admit, I have the full demi, and love it. I hope you find the earrings!
