Hello Friends,
I went to an estate sale in Eastham today that was incredible. I wish you could have all been there with me, the place was breathtaking, and the remainders of the sale still interesting.
I didn't come away with much, but did make a few excellent purchases.
This little vessel was actually purchased on the way home, in Orleans.
It spoke to me immediately but was a little pricey. It didn't take me long to make up my mind, since not one other thing from the entire contents of the shop,( which was very nice, indeed! ), compared in allure to this little box.
It's approximately 2+3/4" high, 3+3/8" in diameter
The signed bottom was the knock out punch,....( .what a thrill to see that bottom when I flipped it over )
Now I'm hoping that it rings a bell with one of you.
I hope you enjoy it as I did, I'll post more soon,( Holy week has make me Wholly weak with all of the extra work ;)
Thanks for peeping,
Tony.

Budek, have you found out more about this? I can't get it off my mind that's why I'm asking. Somewhere deep down in my memory I have a feeling I have seen this mark before, long ago. I hate when that happen...
Just a guess but it might be by the Kunstgewerbe-Werkstätten Olbernhau
Here is a link to a pic of the kwo sticker which has been in use after 1949...
