Can anyone tell me about this clock? I know it's a Seth Thomas, but have no idea as to the model or when it was manufactured. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Steve,
It looks like you have a Seth Thomas "Sentinel 4" from circa 1924. It has a mahogany finish and their very reliable No. 89 8-day time and strike movement. The Seth Thomas No. 89 movement was used in a lot of Seth Thomas mantel clocks. It often had either a deadbeat, or semi-deadbeat escapement, which helped make it a very good timekeeper for its day. It was manufactured in many "versions". Yours looks like the "No. 89 AD" which had the solid rear plate. Hope that helps solve your mystery. If so, please indicate Mystery Solved in your listing. If you have more questions, let us know.
Bruce,
Thank you so much for the response. That is exactly what I was looking for!
You're very welcome Steve.
