A mystery I found today at an estate sale for $5.00. I thought it was a Gillette gold Senator as the box said but I did a little research and apparently the Senator was not made in gold. Also, it's not a one piece as pictured on the box it was in.
No dates or numbers on shaver. It says" Pat Nos on Box" on the inside of one of the three pieces. This is marked Gillette and Reg US Office, Made in the USA.
3" long. In very nice condition. Can anyone give me an idea of the make and model. Thank you for your assistance.

You might research Valet Razor Company. They made gold plated razors. Their top line stuff was marked Valet but I think they also had lower cost unmarked units. They average around $10 unless you happen to have one that is really unusual. This one isn't made to use with an auto strop so that will help you date it.
