Our Antique Philco portable stereo. I'm not quite sure about anything else, so if anyone can give me some help on this stereo, I'd be so happy..

I guess, in the meantime, Ronnie will be seeing if it is in working condition (making sure the bulbs are working and fixing the cord so can plug it in) and I'll be looking it up online. Unless he needs my help, which I doubt, haha.

Make sure he brings the power up slowly on a variac because the capacitors usually need to be reformed (better yet replaced as electrolytic caps dry out) otherwise a pop sound and some smoke will be bad news. I hope he is experienced with the high voltages of tube audio.

I've researched it and believe it to be Model# C1348 philco 1955 , but first introduced in 1954.

Under the radio it has a tag that says Part#10949 & Cab Insp 190-302

Thank you for loving our radio Blunder, Roy, Agh,& Kerry :) I've been looking for the wiring schematics online.
And Thank you TubeAmp for the comment. We truly appreciate it. Yes, my husband first knew that it was a Tube radio before I did. :) The record player doesn't spin and there is a wire not hooked up, but like Ronnie said "he doesn't want to just put it anywhere, it has to be the right conection" :)
