These pics show the back with the door open. My husband cut a piece of wood then framed the piece on the inside. He then attached it to the cabinet and put the magnetic closure on. The last pic is a closeup of how the hinges were placed.
I'm very pleased with the outcome. I feel as though my $50 investment was not wasted. We took a beautiful piece that had no purpose any longer and made it into something that can be used to store whatever we want to store in it.
I'm so excited about how it turned out that I will be on the lookout for another Radio Cabinet I can turn into a storage unit and possibly sell them in the future.
