I know little about this vase - I am calling it European, simply because I bought it from a dealer in Scotland. Beautiful Alexandrite colored glass on a classical form, rib optic, with silver overlay (applique might be more appropriate), which is finely engraved. Neither the silver nor the vase are marked. There is no pontil - the bottom is smooth. I haven't found this exact shape in any of the usual places - Moser, Heckert, Josephinenhütte, even Baccarat. The closest I've found, so far is Legras, and even that is far from a perfect match. If anyone has any ideas who could have pulled off this combination of artistic elements, I would appreciate your input.

Fabulous!...just love the silver bird and acorn? tree he is sitting on....:-)
