UPDATE: Glass decor finally identified!
This dark green shaded to a beige color has a name, and now we know what it is, thanks to an example posted on facebook by Rosa Maria (see last photo). Like other color-spreading vases from this time with names like Persica, Pavonia, etc. - this one is referred to in the production notes as "Dg (dark green) Sphinx I/40".
