I found this today at a flee market for under $20. I bought it due to the fact it's extremely similar to a tin doll house my Mother puts out every year at Christmas time.

I am unable to locate any make / model on this house so I have no idea what company may have produced it or from what time period. All I know is that I now have my own Christmas Doll House that I can actually play with, haha!

It's a real charmer! About what size is it and what materail is it? In the mid-50's, I started collecting the beginnings of what became a massive Western set. I believe it started out with a Roy Rogers Ranch and part of an old west style street including saloon and hotel. The structures were open in the back, the walls were patterned (like the doll house) and came in metal sheets with tabs to assemble. They also came with well sculpted plastic figures, removable saddliery and harnesses, wagons, furniture, fencing, flat trees and the like.

I am 99.9% sure it was made by the Marx Co. in the 1950's to 1960's, your welcome.

      Village - You're very welcome :)

Jackie - It has a width of 22 inches and a height of 19. It's made out of metal and also has tabs keeping the roof on as well as the second story floor. My mother has the sculpted plastic figures / furniture however mine came alone.

Frank - Thank you ever so much!

I have a doll house exactly like yours and mine is exactly like the one I had as a child in the early 1940's.
