    A John Deere Person here....LOL

The Good old days with the JD Liquifire snowmobile. We first had the early 1970's models of the Liquifire in both the 340 and the 440. Then my one brother traded in his JD 1970 liquifire.....for the 1980's JD Liquifire as seen in this picture.

I still remember when I took this picture that day - I had to have my mitts OFF to run my Pentax K1000 SLR...... it was like -40 Celsius that day

    LOL

Rose I just can't comprehend that sort of cold. I know you had a hard winter this year too but living somewhere that regularly drops below zero must be a challenge anytime! The internet must be a lifesaver when you're trapped inside!
(BTW - getting cooler here now... overnight temps are nearly below 10C!)

LOL....Do the same thing (kinda) as you. Go out shopping, for coffee. Weren't not really trapped inside at all. Still do everyday things here....just let the car warm up, have it plugged in when not using (for the block heater to warm the block).

Just NO sitting by the lake right now -- and NO mosquitoes right now.....LOL.

Great photo of the John Deere. Only snowmobile I had that still ran at -40 was my 74 Elan Twin. Always loved the liquifire but only managed to own a spitfire with the Kawasaki free air 340. Great for going in a straight line, and adjusting the limit strap for long 'wheelies'. Bar cleat track was not so great.
