    (12 items)

Manufactured by Fitzgerald Manufacturing Co., with a patent issued in 1921.

Arms swing to toast both sides.

Unfortunately, the cord has yet to be found, but we have boxes of more items to look through, so we're keeping our fingers crossed.

    I can't believe I came across www.toaster.org - who would have thought!?

Once again, if anyone can direct me to more information, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you all for helping a newbie :)

Sorry I didn't respond - I've been in the process of moving and it's been SO stressful.

Most everything on here I've found in just ONE storage unit. It's so great going through everything.

      Thanks for the info!

I, too, have a Star Toaster. Believe the Fitzgerald Mfg. Co started making this model in 1927. The company also made fans, heaters, gaskets, etc. One article I read says that Charles Lindberg used one of their "leak proof" gaskets on his flight to Europe. I have the original cloth covered cord that came with the toaster.
Interesting enough, these originally cost $5.00 each for the toasters in 1927.
