Wow. Love. Love the motion, the colours, the construction. This is a vitrail crystal with smoke or grey chatons.. Named Fantasia. Book set, Pitman, page 281.
When I got it, the seller called it heliotrope. My research indicates Fantasia, from the Pitman book. The chatons are the smoke. And, the finish is more the vitrail, than anything else I've seen.
Next....finding the matching bracelet. And the second pair of earrings. And the pin.
OMG!! ,You live in Wis :) im up in Appleton!!
I'm here too Sean in Wi lol . I just added to a post of Beer signs I guess we will always be the Beer Capital not just the Dairy State . All the cows are leaving and breweries closing . Have a Nice Memorial day Sean and Count :-)))
Awesome! I'm in Milwaukee! And, should be out scouring for new treasures. But, I'm all the lazy today.
Countess these are fabulous! Get the set (when you can :( .. ) and model them for us. You will look extraordinary!
Thank you. I do have the two pieces in this picture. Still looking for the bracelet & pin. Because, it's D&E. We all know they made a complete grand parure.....
D&E! Marked or unmarked?
D&E is never marked. Unless D&E made it for someone else. Well, certain companies, such as Hobe, Celebrity, and a few others, who put their company names on the pieces D&E made for them. Tara did not. I study, collect, buy & sell D&E. LOVE it. My newest collected pieces are the 1960's moonglow & mountain top set & a grey frosted parure. Still have a few pieces of both sets to find & acquire.
Okay, now I know the difference between D&E and Celebrity, thanks Countessa. Why is it also called Julianna?
Okay, I've read the CW article yet again to try and understand the differences. D&E was a company that designed and made jewelry for other companies (Celebrity), then for two years made a line called Juliana which was unmarked (hang-tagged).
