Well the first annual Randolph/CW meet up was held this weekend and I finally met icollectglass!! Yep a meet up of two! It was great and a whole lot of fun to put like minds in the same booth.
This is about half of my booth which is the product of an agreed upon solution to what my husband views as my hoarder issues.
Randolph selling was all over the board. I sold all my Dansk (older), metal anything, teak anything, and Scandi glass seemed to be back!
I had a lot of bundle situations...a fella bought all of my 70s glass, a lady bought 12 pottery vases, another a ton of my Ultima Thule and so on...
No one bought art, anywhere. All the dealers were complaining about it.
There were a few spectacular moments of jackass people, and some beautiful moments of people just being fun and nice.
Couple of the dealers who were trolling my booth were shady and surprised that I knew what the hell I was doing. (What? You know that it's a Robert Maxwell, not just a "student piece" like I called it)
Some were super cool sharing pricing history, asking questions about things they had etc. I knew a bunch before, but now have tightened some bonds and made some new friends.
All in all a great show. The absolute worst part was that I couldn't go shopping!!!!

It really was fun. You can see hot it is. I hate to complain about it, especially after this winter but dang! I was trying to act like I was surprised to see him. Think I need to practice on taking selfies.

It's odd that you say Art was not selling. My sister ( a photographer) could not sell anything at a very well attended annual town Garden Party, started and attended by the Fabulous Beekman Boys. One attendee told her her what she did was "lovely but useless" What's up with people?

Okay, I just deleted all the posts as I really really didn't understand what was going on at all. Zowie, I am sorry if I offended you but I seriously don't know what I did. Hopefully we can all focus on the lightheartedness that this post was put up to share.
I'm with you I cannot handle that s... only I cannot delete from my end wish I could must of been having a really sensitive day. But I speak to everyone the same as I really do not care were someone is from we all have the same interest. Have a great day to you & yours
