Continuing on with today's art pottery. After I left GW I always go to the Volunteer's of America thrift store. This little 6" beauty was sitting on their display wall behind the counter. I was ready to check out so I asked to see it before he rang me up. It was priced rather high and I wanted to know why. I said " Let's see what the magic name was on the bottom for that price." The clerk said "Well is it a good piece ? " "Yep" Royal Hickman the chief designer for Haeger pottery from 1938 to 1944 . "Ouch on the price",... but I'll take it ! -Mike-
Love it !!
Thanks surf :) I have a few Royal Haeger pieces but this is the first Royal Hickman signed piece in my collection.
