Fabulous Maya Mexico "the Kiss"
Amazing necklace I found, and just liked the look of. Sooo different. So I bought it. And cleaned it up a bit when I got home. And, then found the maker's mark. And... then, looked it up and found out just what kind of wonderful treasure I'd really found. Wow. Book cover piece. Highly collectible. Just amazing. Found the matching earrings, and got them. Then I found a matching bracelet, pin & belt buckle. But these are often rare and hard to come by, and usually pretty pricey! I've seen them all go for between $175 and $300.... Each piece.
Thank you. It's pretty awesome, no lie. I'm still very partial to my Coro stuff, but this is the original inspiration for all the 50's Coro Aztec, Peruvian/Incan stuff...
