    Just got these and haven't had time to really look them over. Just thought they were interesting. If anyone has any information about either one, I would surely appreciate it.

      The first one is an Underwood. They were the Mercedes Benz of type writers. They were seen as the best of the best (especially the No. 5 Model), and most popular, for nearly 100 years. I have a No. 5 from about 1926, posted here. Yours is not a No. 5 but still a very nice model. The model No. should be in the front on the left, like on your other type writer. On the back there should be a list of serial numbers with dates. The last one dates your type writer.

      If you go to typewriterdatabase.com you could find most info down to the year manufactured if you find your serial number
