Another majolica flower pot, maybe French or from middle Europe?
It's square-shaped, and has very beautiful colours!

Does it not say Rorstrand on that piece also?

maryh1956 - Thank you very much for your suggestion and for loving it!!! :) I don't think it looks like any Swedish mark I know (also not Rörstrand), although it's impossible to read... Once I saw some majolica things on Ebay with a very similar style, they were advertised as French. Unfortunately I cannot remember the makers name!

nutsabotas6 - thank you so much for your comment and for the love!!

Reminds me of Eichwald but thats not usually marked at all.
Anyway looks more Germanic (Austria, Bohemia, Germany) to me than French which is what people often put when they don;t know.
The mark seems to start with RS ....one immediately thinks of RS Prussia but no mark like that listed for them and the rest looks too long and disjointed for Prussia.

vetrissimo - many thanks!!! Oh, germanic! I have no idea, the mark is really hard to read. I once saw some other items which must have come from the same producer listed on Ebay as french. However, I know one should not trust everyhting one sees on Ebay...
      inky - many thanks!!!
