Loetz Cobalt Blue Papillon Vase with Three Extruded Handles

While the decoration is simple Loetz Papillon oil spot in cobalt blue, the form is anything but. Three extruded handles pulled from the body of the vase, curled over onto themselves and attached below the rim. They were then marvered to the vase with additional furnace work, a delicate process done by only the most skilled Loetz gaffers. It stands 5" tall by 6 1/2" wide.
