Another one of my Summer projects: So I'm cruising around in my truck, just enjoying some Blues on 91.5 the UNLV college station here in Las Vegas. And to a complete surprise I happens upon an interesting sign on the side of the road become..."Estate Sale". Now I have only come across one actual "Estate Sale" in my entire life. This was back in 1996, but the seller actually used the term, "Mansion Yard" Sale. So out of a curiosity, I had to check it out. It was a mansion indeed, 10,500 square feet & 40 foot roman style columns at the front porch and all located on Sunrise Mountain here in Vegas....that was a long time ago. Anyhow I decide to check out this one supposed "Estate Sale". I am not as punctual these days as I might've been 7 life times ago (Which is a pretty good thing too!), come to find out this "Estate Sale (actually a garage sale)" had ended an hour before I arrived. The seller was in their garage doing something as I pulled into their drive-way. This beauty caught my eye right away. I asked the seller how much, they replied, "For that old piece of firewood?" I purchased this antique Victorian Eastlake barbers dresser w/ mirror & the drawer locks work too....for $10.00 and didn't bother haggling. =)
Love this Tom and the story too. Great find !

Cool story and buy!
So what is the project with it/ Remove the paint?
Will be awesome when back to timber!
Aloha racer4four, you read me like a book. Yes the paint must go indeed. I will be trying to match the mitror. But for now, I'm still a little flustered by the price I got this for. When I'm done, my Barber will literally scream when I get this piece back to it's glory, many many thanks =)
