The other doll!!!
I clicked onto the site, but the doll shown listed looks a later one, than mine, but does have the same with open fixed eyes etc. Going from this mine must be an earlier make. The key in the back of my doll is also fixed. Many thanks for your time and help. Kind regards, Mary
A 1970's version . Japan started the big eyes in 70's . She may have been distributed a year or 2 earlier but not more than that , Sorry She is still a 1970s doll but a collectible one beause of the large eyes . Each doll year had date on box and latest one put out say Sanko on their back . Thank for sharing the photo but she is still not older than early 70's . These are nice dolls but collectors also want box all original and near mint to bring top dollar . I enjoyed our sharing info :-)
