Budek

Hello again,
This is another piece from today.
I was drawn to the amazingly intricate design, all hand done, and the 3 beautiful relief panels of figures. I've decorated a number of similar surfaces over the years and am very impressed by the application of the design on this piece.
I don't know what kind of metal it is, only that it's not silver.
My guess is that the scenes in each of the hammered vignettes represent a story.
See the photo of the bottom, with trillium like design and Arabic? writing.
Help is welcome and appreciated,
Thanks for the looks,
Tony.
p.s., sorry, I didn't know what category to place this in.
stunning!!! very beautiful!!
I'm glad you like it, Sean!
Thanks for the love!!
Your very welcome Tony!!!
budek, beautiful piece! I recently found a very similar piece I was wondering about. Mine is a little more crude, but I also believe it to represent a story. The detail on yours is really amazing. Could yours be nickel over bronze or brass?
