Real or not?
Oil Painting about 8 x 10 ( I think*). Does anyone know if this is real or not? Looks good IMHO, as a real painting, but a real Rene Caron ?? I do not know
* I say (I think for Size) as the photo are on my computer from a while ago, and painting are stored away....so forgot the sizes....LOL
( Why NO CATEGORY for Art or Paintings on CW ???? )

That's beautiful ! Real ?...Sure why not. It looks good to me. Frame doesn't look cheap and seems correct for the period. Canvas has some age to it. It's got my vote!
I don't know if its real or not but its a damn good painting IMHO.

Sure it's a real Rene Caron. it's not as if his paintings are rare, unusual or expensive. but they are nice and he is definitely talented. Probably a good investment at $150-$350.
