I've come out of retirement to show you a purchase that I had commenced locally here in Australia before I had retired...these are my gift of flowers to you...
I look forward to your ideas if you wish on who you feel the makers attribution may be :)
Using former ladies photos as they really do show the full quality..
2 gorgeous crimson red vases commonly known as Flori Form. Magnificent leaves in clear glass, striked...so pretty and once I clean them up after collecting tonight will proudly join my pink and cranberry glass area....a few locals know the bargain they were but I'd have paid much more to bring these home..a fitting good bye from posting my items...
bye bye and thank you for the beautiful comments and lovely letters...Anne
Thank you...just like you..they're a beautiful photographic gift that will remind me of the beauty I found in here.
Thank you also
Geo
Mike
And Violet Orange
Lovely.....elegant.
Thanks for the comment Phil. Yes I saw Leah's; hers were just slightly different from her photos in the barrel, they had stripes or lines running vertically. Mine are slightly smoother..
So please explain, light shades? Were they hung as a pendant light? Has anyone got a photo in situ? What a treat that would be to see.
I couldn't believe it when I saw them for sale here. We get the sum total of zip on items like this. Or if we do, they are so inflated in pricing...
Yes, you're right, I adore them...
Cheers Anne
thank you Moon and Petey...
Thanks for the loves Ian and Penny .... I was convinced Penny that you had sniffed out the deal... Lol ... But really glad we are still heading to world domination ... Anne xx
These flower like vases are a great farewel gift! :)
stunning vases~!!!
Thank you Sean and Austro. I've updated tonight with a pic of where they sit when we got back from another exciting visit to the city.
There is also a cute little pink vase that arrived after 12 weeks...seems UK are hit and miss in sea mail. It's worth trying though..sometimes it goes airmail, probably about 70% of the time....
Airmail and exchange rates are really an extremely costly situation...But being here in Oz we don't have a lot of choice. Finding lovely items here though is very exciting when you do find something.
Today for example, a great Master sent me an item her thought I might like, a red Worcester plate with fruit. I have a little Worcester fruit already but he was clever because he didn't know I collected it. Anyway it went for $152.50. Not my budget this week. But proving in Australia the market is still hit and miss. This plate could sell for $800 in an antique shop or $50 on ebay if it gets missed...
Night All...and thanks for looking...xxx
Very nice examples, looking great
thanks Kerry, appreciate your comment and Love!
Thanks jags!
Your very welcome Anne !!! wow!!!!
Fran did you notice the vase on the far right? When I was having treatment this week I popped down to the ladies auxillary shop and found they had a pink one. I'm hoping the ladies croquet up a red one but I think my luck is out. Do we have anyone good with the needles on here?
coming from you Gary, a great honour..you rarely go to "lovely". Thank you. I'm thrilled you like them.
It was very exciting. With my current bugetary contraints I thought there's no way I'm going to afford these. Another fine example of poor listing descriptions.
"Vintage cranberry vases". And they are just outstanding. I have a large Czech brandy balloon that my mother won in a Golf competition, along with 6 pounds, it was 1965! And the colour of the glass is a perfect match. I doubt though that these were made at the same time. Do you happen to know what year approx these were?

Hello Anne and how are you darling? Happy 4th of July!!
Happy 4th July to you Sean, although we don't celebrate it here. Maybe a chance for all Americans to be kind to each other in celebration of their big day....
I'm not too bad. This drug they say isn't a chemo sure feels like a chemo..lol...been a bit knocked out with it all..but hey if it does some good then we can only be thankful...how about you Sean, is the world looking after you?
I've been watching all your posts. I miss you all terribly but I can't spread myself so thin like I was.....you take care and have a great rest of your day...
