I've been collecting flamingos since the late 1970s. At first I would buy any and all ceramic and porcelain flamingos that I found. It didn't take long to discover that the porcelain flamingos made by Will-George of Pasadena, CA in the 1940s were far and away the coolest flamingos I'd ever seen. Eventually, all the others went bye-bye and I focused on collecting only those produced by Will-George.
So cool that it makes me want to collect flamingos! ;}
I have collected Flamingo's from the seventies also, but I don't think I have any Will- George, these are cool. I bought quite a few back then at the Rose Bowl Flea Market, before they became so exspensive. By the way, welcome to collector's weekly, show and tell.

I have a trio of George Will flamingos that I inherited from my great-grandmother that I have loved for years. One is hand signed into the clay and the other two are unsigned. Early on did George Will sing every piece?
