Here is a what I think is a world war 1 shell casing. Made of brass. Says Craonne 1917 on it. On the bottom it says 75 Dec. sd. la. D 3L 16 D. Don't know much about these things. Anyone have info on it?

These type of items are called Trench Art. Craonne was a city in N. France.
