One of the first picnic coolers coca cola every advertised on i think. It's from the late 30's, early 40's. I swear I have seen this in B.J. summers book, but I heard his book is a little weird on some items. Ray, earlycoke, what are your thoughts on this item?

Yes it is a coke cooler. Not worth much in that shape though. As far as the Summers book, use it for photos only. As far as knowlege or accuracy, he doesnt have a clue . . .

      Thanks guys.
How much would it go in this condition?

In my experience items in this poor a condition are not able to be sold. Just keep it and enjoy it for what it is.

Wow , FInally , I have been searching for days for this same cooler . I have one , but in better shape , A little rust on the bottom corner, but picture and paint are still in pretty good shape . No holes or anything. Just a small dent that could be fixed i believe . What would be the value of it in better shape ? and where can i go for more info ? PLease ?

Wow, now this is the 3rd one I have seen other than mine. No one seems to list a manufacturer. So this is a very early one? How rare are they?
