I acquired this tea set after my grandma passed away. My daughter and I are very curious about it but can't find any information about it. It has "Made in Italy" handwritten in brown ink on the bottom of each piece. The tea pot has "5294" also written on the bottom. We love this set but just want to know more about it and wondered if any of you experts want to lend a hand! Isn't it pretty?

Your Italian tea set is almost exactly like one I have inherited from my parents. The difference is that mine has one pink flower only, no blue flower. I have 6 cups and saucers and a sugar bowl with lid. The set is quite small scale. They have 'made in Italy' written underneath but no number as yours has. They definitely appear to have been painted by the same hand. I live in Australia.

this might be made by Graziano Pimpinelli. i recently posted a pic of a very large water pitcher i found by him. http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/172069-very-large-italian-pitcher
