    Here is a Mount Carbon Brewery Foam Scraper I recently picked up. This foam scraper is made out of plastic and was made for the Mount Carbon Brewery located in Pottsville, PA. Mount Carbon Brewing Company was established in 1845 and ran up until 1976 when Yuengling Brewing Company (another Pottsville brewery and also the oldest brewery in America) bought the brewery out.

    These scrapers were used as a promotional piece for the brewery and tools in the bars to scrape the overflow of foam from the glass after tapping a fresh beer. Foam scrapers are rather hard to come by in any condition, I have only seen one like this one before and that one was in really bad condition. I'm really glad to add this piece to my collection.
