Hi all! My mother-in-law is looking to sell this chair, but we have no clue about it in terms of type or style to call it in a listing and certainly no idea the potential worth. As you can see in the photos, it is in excellent shape, the center of the seat is leather. She seems to think it was made in the 1700's, but I cannot find any tags or markings on it. Thanks for any help!

Can't see 1700's at all. I would say maybe from 1890's thru 1930's. Beautiful leather work & the condition of it also influences my guesstimate. Leather can only be preserved for so long, especially when attached to something like this. I see no ingrain stains from the tacks etc.. Maybe even 1950's or 60's.
