Wondering if anyone knows the age of this trunk? My grandfather thought about 150 years old. Its big about 24 in high, about 36 in across, and 22 in wide, Thanks for any information!

Sometimes the hardware on the trunk especially the lock mechanism will have information that you can research on the net. Looks like a Steamer Trunk that was commonly used to carry belongings during the "Steamer" ships and trains haydays. RER(BOB)

Your trunk was made probably around 1910 or so. It is covered with a vulcanized fibber that is very durable. It is not a "Steamer Trunk" as those where the half sized trunks. It has two nice lid guides on the front and good solid corner pieces. Hope this helps and welcome to Collectors Weekly!
