My husband and I bought this crib in an antique shop in Bergen County NJ, in 1981. We used it for our three children, instead of a bassinet. We used custom made bumpers and mattress and stopped using the crib as soon as our little ones began to roll over. We love this crib and have thought about re purposing it into a plant stand or headboard but just can't change or damage it. We would love any information about it or comments.

Looks like it was fit for a king (or little prince/princess). There aren't any markings underneath it? it's pretty amazing!
The head board has two V marks and the footboard has one V
I would keep as is. Shame to repurpose this. Do you collect dolls, pillows or anything? As you could this to hold those. That way the crib itself becomes a display unit (kept intact)
Either that, or have more children......LOL
Agree with AntiqueRose, no re-purpose on this one. Keep it in the family. What a great keepsake to pass down.
