Guitar left to us & have had it for years. Is it worth anything or just a design item? | ||

Your archtop guitar with F-holes is typical for jazz guitars. Gibson made the first, however companies like Sears, Regal, et al mass marketed the heck out of these. Look inside the F-holes for a label or serial number.

Thank you, TubeAmp! I am finding so many things to discover in my garage! I imagine this is a cheaper model, but you have helped me try to identify this item!
You are very welcome CardinalLady. Please post anything else you may need help with, as I enjoy helping others.

That is a very nice guitar. I would take it to a couple of different music stores in your area and ask about it. I'm a drummer and a wood worker, not a guitarist, but I've worked with enough bands and have seen enough instruments to think that this looks like a quality piece from the pics I see here. Can you post some pics of the back, and of the head stock? Please let us know what you find out!
