    Estate sale find 7-5-14.
Bought a carpenters tool box and found this in the bottom of the box. A great find for me as I love collecting levels. Just never heard of TT & H before.

Could be Taylor, Taylor & Hobson????
They manufactured spirit levels & camera lenses.

Nice find ... but all I see stamped on the end of the block what appears to be "T. McMahon". Where is the TT & H marking? (And yes .. Taylor, Taylor & Hobson is a very well known camera optics maker.)

It's stamped into the brass next to the vials.

      quote from the first link
"they seem almost as interested in selling spirit levels as lenses"

Thanks, David ... I see it now. TT & H more than likely made the levels. Very cool.
