Found this in a dusty storage shed. It seems to work. When you plug it in, the red light bulb lights. When you push down the handle, 2 white light bulbs light. I believe it was for making prints from various sized negatives. (There is a slit in the side of the box for the print paper I believe.) It says it's "Printer No. 1." Does this mean this is the first one like this that Eastman Kodak made? Does anyone know anything more about this item? (I cleaned off the dust, but chose not to try to remove what appears to be the remnants of masking tape at various places on the outside of the box.)
Can you type in the patent number ? - I can't read it
Dates to roughly 1921 and originally listed for $20. "No.1" does not designate the first printer because Eastman's printers were available as far back as the late 1800s. Not an unusual item because Eastman sold thousands of these.
Also ... multiple listings in 1918 references selling for $10.00.
