Hello Again,
I bought this a while ago at an estate sale. The owner of the estate worked in glass and had an amazing collection of old and new pieces. I arrived late, but still managed to find some treasures.
I thought this was beautiful, 8+1/2" tall, Sitting on the top shelf, covered with dust, but such an unusual design for a cocktail shaker,( missing a stopper? )
I was hoping that someone might recognize it and be able to tell me more about it.
Thanks and happy day to all,
Tony.
I'm inclined to agree with Kevin, that it's a vase and not a shaker.
Thanks for the love, Moonstonelover!!
much appreciated!
Maybe it is a vase raher than a shaker? I think that cutting is Jugendstil and might give an indication of the age: c.1910
Thanks for the loves, Kevin and mike
