The green luster frogs are incised 8147 on the bottom of each s&p. The green (not luster) base is stamped "Made in Japan Pioneer Muse Co. N.Y." in a circle around the letter "C" The set is 3" tall and the base is 4" long. I especially like the bizarre snout and skinny molded toes with black nails?, and 3 black lines painted down each frog's back.

The blue and gold luster stacking frogs are marked "Made in Japan" on the bottom of the blue frog. Stacked, they are 2.5" tall.

The orphan mini frog salt shaker was once luster green, but the paint has long since mostly rubbed away. He is marked Germany. I especially love his little gold luster top hat. He is 1-3/4" tall.

These are all so great - I am a like a pig in mud looking at your sets!
Would these mainly be 1960s or earlier?

Hi - I haven't acquired an identification book yet - and some sets may well be from the 60s, but I think most of the luster is from the 30s. Perhaps some more knowledgeable person will chime in.
