    All kinds of theories surround this line. They say that the glass was furnace worked and then hit with silver oxides to give it that iridescent blue top color...but the real mystery is how did they make the dimpled potmarked surface.

    Simple! The glass was rolled in oats that would catch fire, burn off, leaving the mysterious voids to expose the underlying glass. Fact or Fiction?...

    The truth is those craftsman are long gone, and the secrets died with them. All we get to do is enjoy their artistry.
