Gift from a friend who worked at Lucas Arts Studio in Sna Fransico, CA. He worked in the Gaming Dept. Working on the Lego video projects. That's deparentment was bought by Disney and has since been let got. It has never been worn my husband hates watches. Can someone tell me if they plan to make the 3D movies? Why would Lucas hand these out at a department meeting? If it wasn't coming out?

    Thank you,

Take my daughter "What noise a woodie makes today." fan.

According to Wikipedia, there has been talk of re-releasing the movies in 3D, and they keep postponing the project. It may be done after Star Wars VII.

However, the logo on that watch is not for 3D, it's a 30. The year 2007 was the 30th anniversary of the original release date.
Type the words "star wars 30th anniversary logo" (without the quotation marks) into Google, and you'll see the same logo as that on the back of your husband's watch.

It seems that the watch itself is a model commonly used for branding and logos.
