I met a woman at the thrift this week, who told me her collection was getting out of hand and she was having a big Vintage Garage Sale starting today. Considering she had a full cart of goodies and was just super nice I planned my work day around "lunching" at this sale.
She wasn't kidding about the quantity. I bought a few things, but noticed a small box filled with about 30 old photos. 50 cents to a dollar each. I just picked up the box and took them all.
Only history is that it was great grandmother's side of the family but NO idea who all these old relatives are. (Mother in Law of vintage lady selling them)
I can see some are of the same people as they age, types of photos are all over the board and some adverts. Totally interesting for $15 bucks though

Meant going through all the stuff I found today. Cleaning etc. I had a long messy work day with brief but spectacular thrifting. Vintage Christmas, ephemera, blue crest Fenton, MCM mini globe, Victorian dresser set from Germany and more. It was awesome.
I like the dog (pit bull??) cabinet card!
It is worth more than the entire lot price-- good buy.

I went back to this sale yesterday. I had such a nice chat with them! She had done pretty well offloading the extras but was already planning on hitting a flea market Sunday as a reward for offloading. My kind of gal!!!!!
