Tonight I picked up this Coke bottle rack for a fair price. Needs some clean up. Just not sure yet where I'm going to display it.

The old sales case racks aren't easy to find at a good price. Not unusual to see the price point altered on signs. I've always thought these racks would be great for displaying carriers or other collectibles. On my "to do" list. That's going to look great wherever you place it.
.....my place.....LOL
Good morning, and thanks for the comments and loves. So our dollar wasn't worth as much back then either. lol
Seller was (close to home) asking $200, and I got it for $150. I figured it was fair as I paid much more for my other racks.
The price point has been altered. It originally listed 25¢.

Nice one!!!
Can't agree with you on this one. It's obviously painted over, you can see the original number showing through the over paint.
Yeah, I probably should go find my bifocals, I haven't seen them in a month. You don't think those numbers look a little funky, Kimosabe? Maybe CK can take a close up using a few more pixels. Loser sends winner a little paper something or other.
I see a wager happen, lol.....either or...cool piece
When blown up 150% I see something yellow imprinted under number 3 under bottom half of 3 and name of company it there also can't make it out .
Hey guys sorry I have been busy lately with work, but seems like I seen these comments just in time. Im surprised to see Dave and Ray having trouble deciding whos right, an easy way to solve this problem would be to ask some Canadian Coke collectors whos right lol, Like Bill, he would know for sure. Really sorry Dave but Ray is 100% correct! Coke in Canada was never sold for 25 cents are dollar was not worth as much as yours so was never sold cheaper than 36 cents for a 6 pack. I know its hard to believe me on this question considering im one of the youngest collectors, but please remember coke carriers and the display stands are my fav to collect and I live in Canada so have seen this display stand many times.
CokeKid 150$ very good deal for this stand, I have same one but missing one rack still ended up paying 200$ for mine. You dont this this stand too too often and when found almost always priced over 200$.
Actually the cheapest Coke 6-packs that were sold in Canada to the best of my knowledge is 27 cents plus 3 cents deposit (45cents). Check this link picture of my canadian coke carrier, I dont think Canada had any other coke 6packs before this one. http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/96234-my-favorite-coca-cola-carrier
TGBWC I know nothing about cole stuff But I can send you a 200% blow up photo so you can decide . There is something under the 3 but not sure what . If you email me at Manikin1234@aol.com I will send enlarged photo to you if that helps :-)
oops that is coke stuff lol typo
OK :-) It does not really look like a 2 to me more a S shape . I will await the outcome for learning .
more a 5 ? was coke 5 cents then ?
well it could be a 3 but is more wavy in appearence . Now I am curious :-) Thanks Coke Time .
Very nice rack. Good find.
I am sorry for creating such a debate,......or am I? LOL. I had trouble uploading some of the photos. That's why only the two. It does look like the 36 cents was placed over the original 25 on the sign.
Thanks for all the loves and great comments!!!

It's all about the fun of sharing and learning and gaining experience while collecting old, authentic Coca-Cola ad pieces. CW does a great job of helping us do that electronically. Well done.
Very nice find and great Coke rack at a great price.
