These Victorian earrings are made with authentic ancient coins. Just not sure of the coins origins. Any ideas? Thanks!

It is Alexander the great – about $200 - $ 300 each, some are more expensive.Any hallmarks in gold? There should be if British - well established system of hallmarking precious metals.
Thanks Ivan, I wasn't sure if they were Alexander or not. There are no hallmarks. Without a doubt they are gold. These are possibly french.
Thanks Inky!
HAPPY NEW YEAR, WOLCOTT !!!!
That has to be 18K.
Could be Celiene, thanks. Wish the one on the right wasn't missising a piece :(
Can't think of an inexpensive way to repair that...
Happy New Year!
Oh - a little 18k (or 14k if that is the case) ball would not cost much to have replaced at all!
Now that I look closely, it looks like the one above the missing one may have been repaired/replaced.
Good to know,
thanks Celine!
