need a little bit to search more info. i love the delicate painting, and lovely small fish details close to the teapot cover.

Funny really I saw the same sort of fish pattern thats arount the top of your teapot today on a couple of small plates !! It was just around the rim the rest was plain, it was marked beneath made in Japan in red writing , poss 1970s ish..
im not saying yours is that new or even japanese just thought you'd like to know... regards sd
Has yours got any markings at all ????
hi surfbud, no it have no marks, but i believe that is not tyhat new at least maybe late 19th cent. to 1930.... no younger. with time i will find one to compare -)
My guess is 1870-1920, can't be more specific.
this is probably good , its most likely kangxi revival famille verte, and thats value , slight chance that is is real kangxi , less likely , has to go to an expert can,t see well enough
