Ladies "Avon" Make-up Compact

This is a ladies make-up compact from Avon Products, Inc., New York.
The lid has a brushed silver-tone finish with mirror inside lid (mirror reflection in picture 2 is my ceiling), the bottom part has a gold-tone finish.
Included inside is a "blush" powder and application pad. - The lid features the Avon "4 A's" emblem in the center. The four A's symbolize the dedicated Avon Representative motto, "Anytime, Anywhere, Always, Ask", and in the 1960's and 1970's, Avon featured the 4A logo on everything from product packaging and makeup to fashion accessories. - Founded in 1886, Avon Products is an American international manufacturer and direct selling company in beauty, household, and personal care categories. It is the fifth-largest beauty company and second largest direct selling enterprise in the world. Avon uses both door-to-door sales people ("Avon ladies" primarily) and brochures to advertise its products. Each Avon representative is an independent sales representative running their own business.
